Witness Test
Home Up Preliminary Test Witness Test Test Definitions

The Witness Test is conducted in much the same way as the Preliminary, except there are time restrictions imposed, and a representative of ADWM is on site to "witness" the test, record test results and issue documents and forms as required.
As a result of the time restrictions mentioned, we will be on site one hour prior to the scheduled start time of your Witness Test.

Downtime for the Witness Test varies from 2 - 5 hours, depending upon the type and amount of equipment in use. Your site will be shut down from the time we set up and begin the test until the Witness Test is completed.

All affected tanks should have a minimum 60% of product capacity for the Witness Test. Fuel should be dropped no less than 5 hours prior to the scheduled Witness Test. If the affected tanks are less than 60% full, ADWM may fail the test and impose a $300.00 retest fee.
